DYE Precision, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and organized professional to fill a dual-role position as a Customer Service and Shipping & Receiving Technician. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while also supporting shipping and receiving operations in our warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, with a passion for delivering excellence in both office and warehouse settings
Hours are: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
Customer Service Duties:
- Answer, screen, and direct multi-line phone calls with professionalism and efficiency.
- Type correspondence and memorandums with accuracy, ensuring proper grammar, punctuation, and format
- Greet and assist visitors, customers, and vendors, providing a positive first impression.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail/postage software
- Maintain and organize retail and warranty information databases.
- Process credit card transactions and prepare monthly statements for mailing.
- Maintain website inventory, specials, and product listings
Shipping & Receiving Duties:
- Package and prepare finished goods for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and care.
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, including raw materials and finished products.
- Organize, manage, and account for inventory within the warehouse.
- Drive to and from vendors/customers' locations as needed, adhering to company and legal driving policies.
- Assist with manual assembly, deburring, and re-work operations as required.
- Operate standard office and warehouse equipment, including forklifts, postage meters, and scanners.
Skills & Qualifications:
Required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Apps, and inventory management systems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute.
- Exceptional customer service and telephone etiquette.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Preferred:
- Experience with UPS/FedEx software, Starship, Sage100, and MAS200.
- Forklift certification.
- DYE Paintball product knowledge
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
Work Environment
- Office/Warehouse setting for receptionist duties.
- Warehouse environment for shipping and receiving tasks, which may involve exposure to varying temperatures, airborne particles, and moderate to high noise levels.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and handle materials, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Experience & Education
- High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, front desk, or retail roles.
- 24 months of experience in shipping/receiving preferred.
