Dykema's Data Privacy and Cybersecurity group is seeking an associate with 4-6 years of experience. Chicago is the preferred office location, but we will also consider candidates for our Dallas and Detroit offices. Significant litigation experience, preferably in privacy and/or class action litigation, is required. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of HIPAA, breach response, compliance counseling, and risk management, as well as familiarity with federal and state health privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR, CCPA, GLBA, FCRA, CFBA, and BIPA. A CIPP/US certification is required. Admission to the Illinois bar is required. Hybrid schedule with in office expectations weekly. Salary range: $183,000-$205,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience level.
