Role Overview
In this role, you will help drive the company’s project pipeline, overseeing key aspects of project execution. Your role involves managing land use permitting, real estate due diligence, and transactions to ensure projects progress smoothly. Working within an agile and dedicated team, you will contribute to bringing essential energy infrastructure online efficiently while creating projects that align with the company’s ownership and operational goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of energy storage projects, from evaluating potential sites to initiating construction, while ensuring seamless coordination with other teams to address challenges
- Work closely with teams across engineering, procurement, construction, finance, acquisitions, and origination to align project objectives and meet key milestones
- Handle property assessments, negotiate land agreements, oversee external consultants and legal advisors, and finalize real estate transactions
- Manage permitting processes by preparing applications and engaging with consultants, government agencies, and policymakers to obtain necessary approvals
- Plan, monitor, and project financial and scheduling aspects of developments
- Direct multidisciplinary teams and streamline workflows to drive project progress
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in developing renewable energy or power infrastructure projects
- Bachelor’s degree is necessary
- Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is beneficial
- Proven ability to oversee all phases of utility-scale energy project development, including stakeholder coordination and management
- Excellent communication skills and a strong aptitude for teamwork
- Dedicated professional with high ethical standards and a humble approach
