We are a locally owned, quick-service restaurant that values customer service and fresh, high-quality food. We are seeking a Part-Time Night and Weekend Cashier who is passionate about providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced and fun environment. As a Night Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing guests with menu recommendations, and ensuring that the restaurant is clean and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and provide them with a friendly and upbeat welcome.
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions and provide accurate change to guests.
- Answer guests' questions about menu items and make recommendations based on their preferences.
- Ensure that the restaurant is clean and well-maintained, including restocking supplies, wiping down surfaces, and taking out the trash.
- Assist with food preparation and plating when needed.
- Work collaboratively with the Night Manager and other team members to ensure a positive guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous cash handling experience is preferred but not required.
- Availability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a team.
- Passion for providing high-quality customer service and serving fresh, delicious food.
- Must be aged 16 .
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
