Job Summary
Facility Technician I is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance at DynaEnergetics owned- and operated facilities and properties. Works under general supervision.
Responsibilities
- General knowledge of facility systems such as, but not limited to, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, waste management, grounds, carpentry, and general maintenance.
- Execute Facilities work orders in accordance with appropriate workload distribution, skills, and severity.
- Work independently, with Facilities Team, and other departments.
- Ensure all work performed is compliant with Company policies, processes, and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks to maintain buildings and grounds.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and understand when escalating to Facility Lead is required.
- Use problem-solving tools to identify root cause for repetitive breakdowns or other losses.
- Ability to communicate key issues or problems, solutions, and recommendations to Facilities Lead
- Requires use of technology daily and must be knowledgeable in computerized maintenance management systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must be able to work safely, use all personal protective equipment as required by OSHA and job requirements.
- Maintain excellent team working relationships and ownership of equipment and reliability while driving 100% customer satisfaction throughout all departments.
- Participate in company, EHS, and job-specific training, as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Education and/or Experience
- Must be able to work 8:30am – 5:00pm (1st Shift)
- May be required to be on-call. Opportunities for overtime (weekdays and weekends) will be available on occasion.
- High school diploma required. Trade Certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive responsibility and related experience working in an industrial setting required, preferably in a regulated production/operations facility
- -OR-
- Trade certification and three (3) years’ experience working in an industrial setting.
- Requires the ability to read facility utility equipment manuals.
- Use of computerized building management system to maintain and troubleshoot facility equipment.
- May be required to work overtime, holidays and weekends.

- Positive attitude and strong work ethic are required.

- Collaborative and capable of working in manufacturing and office spaces
