Description :
We are seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer. Primary guideline for this position is to design fire sprinkler new construction, tenant finish, and renovations projects. Design, engineer, and create shop drawings for fire sprinkler projects by interpreting contract drawings, specifications, construction hand-off documents from sales, Florida Fire Prevention Codes / Statutes, and any project meetings. The ideal candidate must possess knowledge of codes and regulations and be detail oriented.
- Create submittal packages of designed systems utilizing manufacturer’s data sheets.
- Create design and / or shop drawings for the project to include a list of materials needed for the purchasing department.
- Design fire protection sprinkler systems within allocated hours for each job.
- Review EOR documents and spec manuals to determine critical dimensions of design.
- Perform Hydraulic Calculations using provided software.
- Design fire protection sprinkler systems with accuracy and detail to enable field installation with few design errors.
- Provide material list for fabrication.
