We have an immediate opening for a 1st shift Controls Panel Assembler. The first shift hours are Monday – Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The hourly pay range is $20-$30 (DOE)

About the role:
Electrical Control Panel Builder/Assembler is responsible for assembling, programming, and testing control panels using a packet of information including bill of materials, electrical schematics, and panel layout drawings. They work closely with engineers to ensure the highest product quality standards.
What will you do:
- Accurately and efficiently assemble control panels using solder and other methods based on electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Safely, efficiently, and properly use all hand and power tools to complete assigned projects. This includes drills, punches, saws, wire strippers, wire crimpers, and other tools as required.
- Move components and/or cabinets weighing up to 50 lbs. between inventory shelves and control panels in assembly.
- Program/re-programing controls.
- Process transactions in the ERP system to include shop order entry and picklist updates.
- Test and troubleshoot panels to eliminate wiring errors and component malfunctions.
- Test completed controls and circuit boards.
- Package, box, and label parts for shipment to customers.
- Inventory controls, including stocking parts, cycle counting, and keeping the electronics area neat and tidy.
What we are looking for:
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and panel layouts, including control circuit diagrams and 3-phase power circuits.
- Ability to identify components and understand industry standard wiring practices.
- Organized and detail-oriented. Performs work to precise standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to communicate with engineering staff for project clarifications, drawing changes, and panel testing.

Education and Experience:
Prior experience, 1 – 3 years of assembling industrial control panels is required.
