Job Description:
Dynamic Access LLC is seeking a skilled Home Infusion Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Home Infusion RN, you will play a critical role in delivering excellent patient care and providing specialized infusion therapy services.
Purpose Statement:
Our company utilizes home infusion therapy as a method of administering treatment directly in patients' homes, as well as in other clinical settings. This approach allows patients to have more autonomy over their care, and our Home Infusion RNs are at the forefront of this effort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer infusion therapies, including IVIG, monoclonal antibodies, enzyme replacement, and clotting factor, following physician orders and established protocols.
- Assess and monitor patients during infusion therapy to ensure safety and efficacy.
- Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy procedures, potential side effects, and self-care practices.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments, including physical and psychosocial factors, to tailor care to individual needs.
- Document patient care activities, treatment plans, and outcomes promptly and accurately.
- Participate in continuous professional development to stay abreast of industry trends, guidelines, and best practices.
Work Environment:
This position requires travel to patients' homes or other clinical settings as needed. Our Home Infusion RNs assume on-call responsibilities during the day, evening, weekends, and holidays per individual employee agreement.
Physical Demands:
Our Home Infusion RNs must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds. They may also be exposed to potentially hazardous substances, which could have possible effects on reproduction. Additionally, they may encounter various environmental conditions, such as cold, heat, humidity, and adverse weather elements.
