What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter Helper position at Dynamic Building & Energy Solutions LLC?
- We are currently looking for carpenter helper to assist our energy assessment crew, and insulation crew. You will be working under the direction of the Crew Lead to weatherize homes . You will also assist in completing insulation, siding and window installation projects. A background check is a needed requirement.
Job Location: All of Eastern Connecticut but focus on New London, Middlesex, Windham counties and southern RI.
Responsibilities: Installation of simple carpentry item roof vents ,gable vents ,access panels, windows, drywall taping
Assist with loading and unloading work trucks.
Assist with keeping the job site tidy, organized and safe.
Assist with customer site job set up and tear down.
Assist with restocking inventory in work trucks.
Ability to read job scope and identify additional work opportunities.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Must be willing to work in attics which can be hot and tight
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent.
No experience needed we will train you.
General Carpentry experience a plus .
Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions.
Ability to utilize common hand tools.
Ability to measure, cut, and prepare for energy savings installation.
Background Check may be needed
Must have a vehicle and valid drivers license

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour Dynamic Building & Energy Solutions LLC Works with Eversource ,UI and National Grid providing energy savings home assessments in Connecticut and Rhode Island.
