About the Position
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing individualized support and oversight to clients residing in our Extended Care Program. This includes engaging in regular room checks, facilitating supportive conversations, and ensuring the well-being of clients throughout their stay.
Responsibilities
* Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures* Provide emotional support and guidance to clients as needed* Conduct hourly room checks to ensure client safety and comfort* Collaborate with other staff members to provide comprehensive care and services* Perform light cleaning duties as assigned by supervisor* Arrange transportation for clients as necessary* Maintain confidentiality and respect client boundaries
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required* Prior experience in human services field highly preferred* Minimum one year experience working in residential setting* Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends*
