We are a locally owned and operated business seeking motivated candidates who are looking to find a career in the low voltage industry. We are looking for a qualified and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a full-time Alarm Technician. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of how to install and maintain Fire, Security, Access Control, and Surveillance alarm systems.

We are looking for a qualified and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a full-time Alarm Technician. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of how to install and maintain Fire, Security, Access Control, and Surveillance alarm systems.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and repair security and fire alarm systems.
- Consult with clients on system requirements; provide system recommendations and cost estimates.
- Use blueprints or building plans to determine proper systems to install based on building layout and setting.
- Run wiring and circuits, install hardware, and attach electrical wires.
- Inspect and test systems, batteries, and electrical wiring; make adjustments and repairs as required.
- Replace malfunctioning hardware when necessary
- Ensure systems comply with electrical and fire codes.
- Explain and demonstrate system function and operation to end users.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Extensive knowledge of security and fire alarm systems and installation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read installation and system manuals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in alarm system installation or a related field.
- Basic certification in alarm or electrical systems.
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, often in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
