Delivery Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate delivery vehicles efficiently.

Duties

• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring items are secured properly.
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Deliver packages to customers in a timely manner, providing exceptional customer service during each interaction.
• Operate various equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts for loading and unloading purposes.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, reporting any discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
• Assist with moving items as needed, including heavy lifting of packages or equipment.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role.
• Strong commercial driving skills with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift safely.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience in route driving, demonstrating knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job.
• Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules efficiently.

Pay: $21.25 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
