The Position
Dynamic Drain Technologies is looking to add an Assistant Vice President of Sales Southeast Region to our sales team with experience selling into industrial facilities or residential buildings (mid-rise/high rise condominiums & apartments). The position will be based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Establish monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets to achieve company goals
- Devise sales strategies to meet sales targets
- Identify various opportunities to meet targets
· Oversees ideas through a project funnel from ideation, concept, trial, development, and deployment as the initiative champion
- Write contract proposals, present proposals to customers, close deals
- Manage internal CRM to manage and report key metrics on sales activities from lead creation through closing
- Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions
- Participate in trade fairs and conferences
- Present the company’s sales and marketing performance to the Executive Team
- Supervise print and digital marketing campaigns
- Network at various levels to bring more business to the company
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
- Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners to develop key relationships
Requires
- You have a degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 10 years’ experience and a strong track record of success in a senior sales leadership role
- You have strong experience in consultative sales and possess the ability to prospect and manage senior-level relationships
- You have strong negotiation and persuasion skills with demonstrated ability to close million-dollar deals
- You are a team player that thrives in helping others succeed
- You are a strategic thinker & problem solver with the ability to develop and implement sales strategies that align with overall business goals
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Analytical skills to interpret sales data and metrics, identify trends and make data driven decisions
- Proficient in sales management software and CRM systems to track sales activities and key metrics
· Proven track record of selling into one of four market segments:
1. Large residential buildings and campuses
2. Industrial/manufacturing
3. Health care including hospitals, testing labs and pharmaceutical facilities
4. Federal properties
· Extensive list of contacts within one of the 4 above markets
· Mechanical and infrastructure experience a plus
· Willing to travel extensively in the Southeast region
· Proven track record of overachieving quota and sale activity levels
· Networking experience in professional organizations
· Flexibility to contribute to after-hours networking events and meetings as required.
Compensation and benefits
· Compensation $150k to $200k, comprised of commission on collected sales revenue and base
· Merrill Lynch Simple IRA with 3% annual IRA employer match
· After 30 days of employment, Group health insurance is available, company pays half of employee health insurance premium, does not include dependents. Dental and vision are offered at the employee’s expense.
