We are a team of experienced Engineers and Construction professionals providing inspection of residential buildings, community centers, subdivisions, mid and high-rise buildings, commercial and industrial facilities throughout New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. We work closely with our clients to truly understand their needs and to deliver the precise product to solve their immediate problem or eliminate future problems.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with architectural and/or construction experience to join our team as a Construction Inspector. The position is hybrid and based in dCEI’s Marlton office with travel in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction codes and standards, the ability to identify and correct construction defects, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences. The construction inspector will be responsible for inspecting.

- Inspect construction projects to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
- Monitor the quality of construction work
- Approve or reject construction materials and workmanship
- Investigate and resolve construction problems
- Prepare reports and documentation
- 2 years’ experience in construction, engineering and/or architecture in New Jersey and
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Independent and critical thinking
- The ability to work logically and systematically, with good time
- Basic IT literacy and the ability to manage and communicate electronic
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, plus the ability to speak
- Self-starter who can work independently and with team members
