We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Dynamic Engineering Consultants, PC.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction phase testing and inspections at on-going projects. This includes providing accurate notes and descriptions of all field activities while reporting to their supervisor daily. Additionally, the individual will be required to provide accurate site inspection reports (SIRs), daily summary emails to their immediate supervisor, and project documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits, testing, and inspection services at construction job sites.
- Assist geotechnical engineers in completing site investigation activities such as soil borings and/or test pit excavations, field permeability/percolation tests, and other supporting tasks as deemed necessary.
- Pickup and drop-off samples to laboratories.
- Review project documents including site-civil, structural, architectural plans, geotechnical reports, and topographic surveys.
- Perform structural steel and steel reinforcement inspections.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in engineering or construction related field preferred.
- 0-4 years experience in construction inspection field or laboratory testing.
- Valid drivers license.
- Ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle.
- Must have hands-on experience with metric and English tools.
- American Concrete Institute (ACI) concrete field-testing technician certificate, accredited construction inspection/materials testing certificates, OSHA 40, OSHA 10, and/or American Portable Nuclear Gauge Association (APNGA) gauge training preferred.
