What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Design Engineer Position position at Dynamic Engineering Consultants, PC?
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to lead our due diligence investigations and design engineering analyses for various types of retail, commercial, industrial, and residential site layouts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review municipal zoning and land development ordinances and applicable agency regulations to determine land development limitations for the property.
- Prepare comprehensive Site Investigation and Due Diligence Reports.
- Develop Conceptual Site Plans and preliminary Grading Plans and Design.
- Design Stormwater Management and Stormwater Conveyance Systems, Utility Systems, and Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Design Plans.
- Provide construction cost estimates and project proposals.
- Manage project budgets and coordinate with clients and project teams.
- Prepare technical reports including drainage, sanitary sewer, and site investigation reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 3 years experience in Civil Site Engineering (residential, institutional, industrial, and/or commercial site design and permitting experience).
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred.
- Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and knowledge of Truck and Turning & Modeling software.
- In-depth knowledge of the planning and zoning process.
- Knowledge of Hydrologic and Hydraulic and Stormwater Design.
