Dynamic Group Management is actively seeking an Outside Corporate Sales Manager. As part of our growth and expansion, we are looking for an active customer-focused team player with exceptional sales skills to join our corporate staff. This energetic leader will be able to enhance revenue by researching local market trends and competitor behavior to discover and close business leads. The Outside Corporate Sales Manager role involves a combination of strategic oversight, hands-on sales activities, and customer relationship management, all aimed at expanding market presence in a competitive space, and increasing profitability. The ideal candidate will have an extensive sales background and hotel experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Generate new business, close deals, and increase revenue by cold calling, on-site visits and sales tours, and community networking.
- Identify new business leads by examining local market trends and competition activities.
- Establish and grow our market share by developing and maintaining relationships with major group and clients.
- Monitors economic/business news in general and news specific to assigned market segments.
- Understands and utilizes available business tools to prospect for new business (i.e., Brand database reports, Construct Connect, Agency 360 where applicable, local newspaper and business journals, etc.) and utilizes internal lead source generators such as in house guest lists and brand reporting to maximize revenue production for five or more hotels.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key clients and potential customers.
- Target, saturate, penetrate specific companies to reach true decision makers in position to refer to our hotels while seeking new business and/or working an existing account.
- Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Focus on both acquisition of new clients and retention of current customers.
- Performing outside sales calls including prospecting to find qualified leads.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to plan and oversee new sales-based marketing initiatives.
- Providing timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs.
- Reporting on sales results and forecasting future sales to upper management.
Working Considerations:
- This position requires a physical presence at Chattanooga/Cleveland, TN area hotels, or the Dynamic Group Corporate office.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel locally, with possible overnight travel.
- Ability to stand, walk for long periods of time while maintaining a professional image.
- Possible weekend availability to ensure group satisfaction, attending of sales blitz, training, or conferences.
Skills and Experience
- 5 Years of Experience with proven track record in sales, ideally with a focus on client acquisition and revenue growth.
- High school diploma or equivalent; College Degree (BS/BA) preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of Sales Force/ Delphi, or other CRM platforms.
- Efficiency in Google Workspace Applications.
- Energetic and proactive attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges and an enthusiasm for meeting new people.
- Have research and analysis skills to analyze market data and competitive behavior to inform strategic decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with potential and current clients.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
