Northwest Electric is the Midwest's expert in industrial electromechanical sales, service and solutions. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand market share within the electric motor systems sales and service industry. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Job Summary :
The Business Development Manager will sell and market our company's products and services to new and existing customers within the Midwest region.
Work Performed :
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to increase sales and service revenue for electric motor systems, including motors, drives, and associated equipment.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in industrial, commercial, and manufacturing sectors.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform business strategies.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Manage costs by maintaining accurate records of travel, mileage, and sales-related expenses.
- Work with VP of Sales to establish the yearly sales budget and goals for the assigned territory.
- Continually work to develop sales skills to be successful in this position.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system.
