We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Help with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to client dietary needs.
- Assist clients in mobility and transfers, ensuring safety while lifting or repositioning.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health conditions.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Support clients with memory care activities and engage them in cognitive exercises.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assisted living, home community care, or long-term care is preferred.
- Knowledge of CPR techniques and catheter care is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as needed while adhering to safety protocols.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Familiarity with memory care practices is beneficial but not required.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
