Caregiver/Personal Assistant MON-SUN 9a-1p !!

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support and care for individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, and those in need of hospice or senior care. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with their daily activities and ensuring their well-being.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or those in need of hospice or senior care
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfer of individuals using proper lifting techniques
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote a safe and supportive environment
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Engage individuals in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for the individual

Skills:
- Experience in home care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or in hospice care
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with diverse needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Proficient in meal preparation according to dietary restrictions
- Ability to lift and assist with mobility using proper lifting techniques

Qualifications

• Core skills in caregiving
• Premium skills in first aid, patient observation, and patient care
• Experience in assisted living and nursing home settings

• Familiarity with medication administration and hospice care
• Background in behavior management and home & community care
• Long term care and social work experience would be beneficial

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $10.60 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift
