Flooring Sales Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Flooring Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design and a keen eye for detail. As a Flooring Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in creating an engaging shopping experience for our customers, assisting them with product selections, and providing expert advice on layout and lighting design. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive store environment will be essential in driving sales and fostering customer loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience.
• Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, including interior design elements and renovation supplies.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer understanding and engagement.
• Maintain the sales floor by organizing merchandise, ensuring displays are visually appealing, and restocking items as necessary.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining cash registers and processing returns or exchanges efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to create effective layout designs that enhance product visibility and customer flow.
• Stay informed about current trends in retail sales, interior design, and lighting solutions to provide knowledgeable assistance to customers.
• Communicate with multilingual customers to ensure all shoppers feel welcome and understood.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures is advantageous.
• Knowledge of interior design principles or experience in layout design is a plus.
• Strong communication skills are essential; multilingual abilities are highly valued.
• A passion for home improvement, renovation projects, or related fields will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
