SUMMARY

 As a Sales & Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in various facets of sales material content, customer interaction, advertising, public relations, and content creation related to sales goals and projects. Successful Interns will assist with copywriting, public relations tasks, cinematography support, and more. This internship offers hands-on experience and invaluable insight into the fast-paced world of Sales & Marketing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging and persuasive copy for various marketing materials, including advertisements, social media posts, and website content.

Assist in the planning and execution of public relations campaigns, including drafting media pitches, and maintaining media contact lists.

Provide project support for campaigns and sales content, including setting up material, assisting with cinematography, scheduling, and editing content as needed.

Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and audience demographics to inform marketing strategies.

Assist with the coordination of sales and marketing events, including logistics, promotions, and post-event analysis.

Monitor and analyze social media channels to track engagement, identify trends, and generate insights for optimization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all channels.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in crafting compelling content.

Basic understanding of public relations principles and practices.

Familiarity with videography software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, is a plus.

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. 

EDUCATION

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Occasionally moves about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer for 80% of the workday.
• Expresses or exchanges ideas through the spoken word.
• Must be able to work indoors 90% of the time.
