DIS is currently seeking phlebotomists who will be responsible for assisting Veterans with veteran care. This will be supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs P&LM Greenville outpatient clinic (GOPC), Greenville, South Carolina, and Columbia VA Healthcare System (CVAHCS), Columbia, South Carolina. The HT will keenly understand federal health agencies' policies, regulations, and structure. The ideal candidate will have a desire and ambition to provide the best-in-class service and support to all of our clients and DIS team members. Someone who possesses the ability to be diplomatic, accommodating, and adaptable to changing work environments and project scopes.

Job Responsibilities

• The employee will perform patient phlebotomy to include inpatient ward rounds, inpatient and outpatient, Emergency Department (ED), STAT, as soon as possible (ASAP), and timed draws.
• The employee will perform sample processing and send out preparation.
  
  

Education, Experience, And Licensing Requirements

• Must have three (3) years of recent Phlebotomy experience.
• MUST possess an active HTL Certification
• Must possess any of the following certifications:
• Phlebotomy Technician Certification (PBT)
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CBT)

Physical

• Frequently required to sit and work at a desk/computer for extended periods of time of up to 8 hours a day.
• While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear.
• Must be able to have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on computer and/or related office equipment.

Salary Is Commensurate With Experience.

DIS offers per diem and relocation assistance for folks outside of Augusta, ME. Our Talent Team will explain further.
