  • Office Location : Onalaska, WI
  • Position Location : Onsite
  • Hours : Monday-Friday : 8 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm or Monday-Thursday : 6 : 00 – 4 : 30 pm (after training is complete)
  • Salary : $23.75 - $30.00 Per Hour
  • Bonus : Company Profit Sharing

Purpose & Summary : As an Environmental Compliance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining environmental compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulations and sustainability standards. You'll conduct inspections, collect samples, analyze environmental data, and support compliance initiatives—helping us protect both the planet and our operations!

Responsibilities include :

  • Perform environmental assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations related to air quality, water discharge, waste management, and stormwater systems.
  • Collect and analyze air, water, and soil samples to assess environmental impact and compliance.
  • Assist with hazardous materials handling and waste management, ensuring all processes follow OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations.
  • Support the development and execution of environmental management systems (EMS) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) programs.
  • Conduct training sessions on environmental compliance topics for staff.

    • Education & Experience :

  • Required Education : High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred Education : Post-secondary education in EHS, Environmental Science, Chemistry or related field.
  • Experience : 6 months – 1 year of administrative support or environmental compliance experience.

    • Skills & Abilities :

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Forms
  • Ability to interpret and communicate environmental data
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to travel for up to 1 week each quarter
