Job Summary
Assist the HR Manager in general HR duties. Must possess organization skills, computer and office experience, be organized, detailed oriented and proficient in work ethic. Have a positive attitude as well as a warm and genuine demeanor. Must be friendly, dependable, energetic and a self-starter. But most importantly, be a team player who is willing to go above and beyond to help.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assists in recruiting, interviewing, hiring qualified applicants.
- Assist HR Manager with onboarding new employees; onboarding documents via ADP Workforce Now, I9 verification, background screenings/pre-employment drug screenings, assist in conducting new hire orientation.
- Maintain accurate maintenance of employee records and personnel files.
- Make necessary corrections to employee clocking errors and effectively communicate changes as needed.
- Support weekly payroll processing and maintenance of payroll history.
- Assist in other Human Resources duties; open enrollment, employee engagement events, worker’s comp claims, etc. as needed.
- Assist in supporting other departments as allowed.
- Possess computer, bookkeeping and order entry skills
- Multi-tasking and good time management
- Must be a team player and have a clear display of hard work ethic.
- Attend Department and Company Meetings.
- Perform all duties in accordance with Dynamic NC Quality Management System and Safety standards, using situation-appropriate tools and protective equipment as applicable.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma / GED.
- Previous HR experience, preferred.
- Experience in ADP Workforce Now, preferred
- Data entry experience, preferred.
- Previous experience working in an office setting, preferred.
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Organized, focused, and results-oriented.
- Excellent problem solving and prioritizing ability.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel.
