Marketing Assistant (Part-Time)

Location : Pleasant Hill, CA

Pay Range : $22-24 / hr

Part-Time, Onsite : 15-20 hrs / week

Temp-to-Hire

We are seeking a part-time Marketing Assistant to join a non-profit organization dedicated to providing professional guardianship and financial management for vulnerable adults. In this critical role, you'll connect with potential clients, manage digital marketing efforts, and help spread awareness of this team’s mission to support elderly individuals without family support and adults with special needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the welcoming first contact for client interactions, offering caring and professional responses to potential clients requesting information.
  • Check phone and website inquiries for follow-up, and assist in scheduling initial appointments.
  • Manage calendars for Fiduciary Officers and Executive Director, assisting with meeting preparation and follow-up.
  • Assist in preparing engaging digital content for social media, the company website, blog posts, and email campaigns, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Maintain and optimize the client database, ensuring accurate information.
  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute client-focused networking events, including sourcing and building relationships with vendors.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
  • Digital marketing enthusiast with experience in content creation and social media management
  • Client-facing experience, preferably in the nonprofit or financial services sectors
  • Tech-savvy professional comfortable navigating CRM platforms and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate compassionately and professionally
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience with WordPerfect, WordPress, and Adobe a plus
