What You’ll Do :
- Lead safety efforts to maintain accident-free environments, ensuring full compliance with company policies and MSHA regulations.
- Perform MSHA and OSHA inspections, audits, and investigations, developing audit checklists to drive continuous safety improvements.
- Support regions in implementing effective safety management systems, minimizing risks and enhancing performance.
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes to ensure accurate and up-to-date application of MSHA, OSHA, and other safety guidelines across all sites.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks in surface / underground mining, asphalt production, concrete operations, and heavy transportation.
- Participate in accident investigations, providing insights on root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
- Assist in developing and executing safety initiatives, such as emergency response plans, accident prevention programs, and training on regulatory compliance.
- Be prepared for 25% travel, including some overnight stays in Ft. Myers, Moore Haven, and Ft. Pierce.
