Join our team as a Residential HVAC Technician, where you’ll play a critical role in installing, maintaining, and repairing residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. What You'll Do
- Conduct regular maintenance checks, including cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting electrical components.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues, such as malfunctions, temperature inconsistencies, and unusual noises.
- Perform repairs, including component replacement, leak fixes, and electrical or mechanical troubleshooting.
- Communicate professionally with clients to explain issues, present solutions, and offer maintenance recommendations.
- Assess systems to recommend upgrades or modifications that enhance energy efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety standards, including OSHA regulations and local building codes.
- Maintain detailed service records, documenting maintenance, repairs, and parts used.
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training in HVAC preferred.
- EPA Certification for refrigerant handling is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Residential Retrofit/changeout HVAC installation or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC codes and energy efficiency standards.
- Familiarity with HVAC tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
- $25-$35 per hour based on experience
