Dynamic Solutions Technology, LLC, a premier strategic services firm that meets IT and Service needs for commercial and government clients. We are is seeking a full-time Information Security Analyst, Junior to support DoD customer. This position is to provide support in the Washington D.C. area.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, implement, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements.
- Plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network; assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure; and respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports.
- Provides functional subject matter expertise in areas such as PKI, Network Security, Information Assurance, Systems Administration, Programming, and Data Center Operations.
- Assume responsibility for contributing to work plan development, reaching engagement milestones
- Conducts analysis of appropriate consulting tools to satisfy program requirements, and creates project deliverables
- Perform analyses and makes diagnoses, as well as defines symptoms and problems, and develops conclusions
- Provides senior-level analytical and program support, and is focused on providing high performance work
Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent;
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate with three (3) years experience
- year experience in a Cybersecurity, Engineering, T&E or A&A (formerly C&A) related field.
- IAT II (Security CE, SSCP or equivalent) certification required
- Computing environment training, in accordance with DoD 8570.01
Qualifications Requirements:
- Must meet specific certification and training requirements in accordance with DoD 8570.1-M, DoDD 8570.1
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Assurance
Experience and Skills:
- Excellent oral and written skills.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to learn and apply technical concepts to assigned duties
