Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Documentation Specialist will provide essential administrative support to the Quality Engineer. This role is responsible for managing documentation, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and maintaining accurate records supporting our commitment to quality control. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, with experience in document management, and enjoys working closely with engineers and production teams in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and control Quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry and regulatory standards within the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Verify completeness and accuracy of job-related documentation.
- Conduct periodic inspections of documentation to ensure quality throughout the production process.
- Review documents for errors, missing information, and non-conformances, initiating corrective actions as needed.
- Provide overall administrative and clerical support to the Quality Engineer and team.
- Maintain accurate records of data, non-conformance reports, and quality logs.
- Identify and address document quality non-conformances in a timely manner.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Production, to ensure adherence to quality standards and achieve quality goals.
- Foster strong working relationships by maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanor, ensuring a positive and collaborative approach to quality processes.
- Serve as a liaison for personnel in the use of the Quality system.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and ensure document accuracy with a methodical and organized approach.
- Strong organizational skills, able to multitask effectively, recognize and address priorities, and follows project plans.
- Strong data entry proficiency for maintaining accurate quality records, results and reports.
- Excellent communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, team-oriented approach to working with Engineers and Production teams for reporting quality issues.
- Ability to adapt to different requirements on each project and changing quality specifications.
- Able to work both independently on tasks and as part of a team to meet goals and objectives.
- Able to build trust by demonstrating accountability, maintaining confidentiality, making principled decisions, and acting with integrity.
- Experience with clerical project work and document control is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 is a strong advantage.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook
- 1 year experience preferred - Quality Management Systems (QMS), production documentation control, administrative and clerical support for record/document management, or similar process reporting experience.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
