What are the responsibilities and job description for the DoD Training Services Program Manager position at Dynamic Systems Technology?
DysTech is looking for a Program Manager to lead day-to-day operations of a military training program that includes developing military training and performing site assessments for training compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the program to include planning, notifying, preparing, conducting, and analyzing results of all site assessments.
- Supervise, direct, and mentor subordinate staff; communicate job expectations and enforce organizational policies, procedures, and core values; responsible for approving timecards and conducting performance reviews and disciplinary measures.
- Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, client, and other departments involved in the project.
- Monitor performance of work, Task Order compliance, and quality control; ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience:
- National Guard experience highly preferred; DoD experience highly preferred.
- Highly preferred: experience with Child & Youth services, military training experience, training curriculum development, training instruction, training workshops, learning management system platforms, site assessments to review training compliance with DoD instructions, or related areas.
- 5 years’ of Public sector consulting experience.
- 5 years’ of experience in managing large complex Federal Government projects.
- 5 years’ of experience in working with State and Local Governments and/or not-for-profit organizations.
- Education / Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree (required); master's degree (preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) (required)
