Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for performing a wide range of HR duties to support our organization's human capital needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
· Manage the recruitment and selection process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
· Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
· Processing employment-related paperwork, such as new hire forms, terminations, and status changes.
· Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
· Assisting in the administration of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, short-term disability, W.C. and leave policies.
· Oversee the company's 401(k) retirement plan, including enrollment, contributions, distributions, and compliance with IRS regulations and reporting requirements.
· Handle unemployment claims by responding to inquiries and providing documentation as needed, with a focus on minimizing costs and liabilities.
· Maintain OSHA logs and records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Process payroll and manage timekeeping systems.
· Organize and coordinate company events, including but not limited to employee appreciation events, holiday parties, and team-building activities.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR roles
· Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
· Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
