Dynamic Transit, a transportation and logistics company, is seeking a Full Time Custom Painter to join our mechanic team in our Hazelwood shop.
Position Duties:
- Proven experience with custom paint for Class 8 Trucks
- Design and use of stencil templates is a plus
- Portfolio of custom paint work is a plus
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying undercoats
- Mix and match paint colors using a paint code to achieve desired results
- Utilize power tools for sanding and buffing
- Use hand tools for detailed work such as trim and touch-ups
- Perform minor auto body repairs and address rust spots
- Handle auto glass removal and installation
- Proven experience in body repair and painting
- Familiarity with mechanic work is a plus
- Verifiable experience in custom paint work
- Experience in pinstripe paint work
- Proficiency in using power tools for sanding and buffing
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures
- Ability to detail vehicles to a high standard
- Skilled in using hand tools for precise work
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
