What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Quality Assurance position at Dynamic Transit?
We are seeking an experienced Director of Quality Assurance who would be responsible for implementing continuous quality improvements throughout the Company by managing the quality control processes of auditing, plan development, communication, and compliance.
We will be reviewing all applicants AFTER the holidays
Essential Functions:
- Review current policies, procedures, systems and develop plans to improve upon the existing quality standards. Ensure that all systems and procedures within the company conform to health and safety regulations, financial policies, contractual obligations, legislation, and meeting company goals.
- Design, develop and review test/audit system processes. Document results based on data analysis and observations after analysis, tests, inspections, and audits.
- Develop and/or recommend system, policy, and procedure changes.
- Prepare reports to communicate data collected, problem trend analysis, conclusions drawn and recommended solutions.
- Be a culture champion and change manager.
Position Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or High School Diploma and 4 years of experience in workforce development.
- Knowledge of ISO, OSHA, TAPA, GDP or related quality program requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Certifications or Licenses:
- ISO 9001 Certification preferred
- OSHA Certification preferred
- TAPA Certification preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred
Computer Skills:
- Proficient with MS 365
- Experience with Project Management systems
- Experience with Quality Management systems
Salary : $125,000 - $135,000
