Controls Engineering Manager - Automation & Conveyors - Central Metro Detroit
A company and proven leader in the field of Turn Key Automation and Conveyor Systems and Solutions with a facility in Central Metro area is currently seeking a Controls Engineering Manager for a long term Direct Hire opportunity with their established and growing team. We provide a wide range of high quality Turn Key Automation and Conveyor systems for projects, and complete factory solution for a wide range of automotive and general industry clients.
Qualified Controls Engineering Manager candidates will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience :
- 5 years of experience leading and managing Turn Key Control Systems for Automation and Conveyor projects, and System Integration.
- 3 years of experience in developing complex Controls hierarchy and controls systems Estimates
- 3 years of recent PLC programming experience related to Automation and Conveyor system integration
- 3 years of Robotic automation and integration experience
- Strong management, planning, leadership and presentations skills are key aspects for this role.
- Must be able to travel 10% to 20% on short duration trips for client presentations, system review, bid meetings, and short duration international travel for training and group technical meeting.
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related subject is a benefit but not essential, equivalent Turn Key Controls and Control System Integration experience will be strongly considered.
- Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered)
- Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
