Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

A leading media agency is seeking a Director of Finance to oversee all financial operations for two newly acquired businesses. This high-visibility role will lead all aspects of forecasting, budgeting, planning, financial analysis, accounting, and reporting specific to these newly integrated companies. The Director will play a critical role in ensuring smooth financial integration and ongoing performance management within the broader organization

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the financial planning and analysis processes for both acquired businesses, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
• Oversee accounting operations and ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closes
• Develop and deliver comprehensive financial reports and dashboards to senior leadership
• Drive financial insights to support strategic decision-making and integration efforts
• Implement and enhance internal controls and accounting policies in alignment with corporate standards
• Act as a key finance partner to business unit leaders, providing guidance and strategic recommendations
• Ensure ongoing compliance with GAAP and internal reporting requirements

Requirements:

• 7–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience
• Big 4 public accounting experience is required
• Active CPA certification is required
• Strong technical skills in financial analysis, accounting, and reporting
• Demonstrated experience supporting business integrations or multi-entity structures
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate with senior stakeholders
• Media, entertainment, or advertising industry experience is a plus
