Our Hedge Fund Client, with $72 billion AUM, is seeking an experienced professional to oversee finance data governance, ensuring accuracy and consistency across business functions. This role will be responsible for managing non-revenue inputs for daily NAV estimates and month-end reporting, as well as developing a new function to monitor and reconcile financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance strategic control processes and platforms to strengthen financial data integrity.
- Lead project management efforts, including policy development, business and technical specifications, and system testing/validation.
- Gather business requirements and define system specifications to improve financial reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate with business analysts, development teams, and finance professionals to identify risks and implement effective solutions.
- Apply advanced data analytics to validate specifications, system implementation, and testing outcomes.
- Manage multiple projects related to finance data consistency, month-end close controls, and ongoing monitoring for data discrepancies.
- Ensure a smooth transition and deployment of finance-related systems and initiatives.
- Utilize expertise in corporate accounting, expense structures, and financial controls to optimize operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 10 years of relevant experience in financial control, accounting, or finance operations
- Must be PROFICIENT in Geneva
- CPA certification required.
- In-depth understanding of the month-end close process, including management, incentive, and compensation fee calculations.
- Experience in multi-manager fund structures preferred.
- Strong analytical and data management skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel; SQL or other programming knowledge is a plus.
- Background in T0 and T 1 P&L production and senior management reporting.
- Experience with P&L controls, reconciliations, and general ledger/accounting data.
- Familiarity with automation, process improvement, and project management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple priorities.
