Responsibilities
Transaction Recording: Diligently record all daily financial transactions and maintain an organized ledger.
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for review by management.
Reconciliation: Perform routine reconciliation of bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Account Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely billing and payment processes.
Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing documentation and reports needed for annual audits and compliance checks.
Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize business expenses to aid budget planning and financial analysis.
Regulation Compliance: Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations that impact the organization's financial practices.
Requirements
Educational Background: An associate degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience, is a must.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a professional accounting or finance setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, as well as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
