Description

Dynamix ESG is currently seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on all aspects of an assigned project, which may consist of multiple projects or one larger complex project. The Project Manager will assist with business development opportunities within the oil and gas industry primarily focusing on the gas utility and gas storage industries both regulated and unregulated. You will work directly with the client and internal departments to ensure project deadlines are complete and delivered within budget, schedule, and defined scope.

Requirements

Expectations/Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to identify, quantify, and direct broad and discrete projects for existing and potential customers.
  • Must have the technical ability to present viable methodology to accomplish those projects both to his team and the end user.
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with the industry and its regulatory environment.
  • Should be able to identify and develop new opportunities as they arise- construction, operation, and retirement, both wells and associated facilities.
  • Technical familiarity with drilling, stimulation, workovers, and repairs, plugging in a regulated environment is a must; as is some technical familiarity with midstream operations- separation, compression, pipelining, welding and fabrication.
  • Must be able to assist in setting prices based on competitive considerations and will be available to assist in developing realistic sales projections.
  • Must be able to initiate and maintain business relationships with customers in both office and field.
  • Oversee and direct in-house engineering and project management staff.
  • Manage and approve departmental budgets, expenditures, payroll, etc.
  • Proactively determine and maintain optimal staffing levels.
  • Ensure compliance with all related laws and regulations.
  • Analyze and evaluate supplier and subcontractor performance.
  • Identify, mentor, and develop key personnel within the organization.
  • Manage and review daily, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Develop and maintain supplier and subcontractor relationships.
  • Foster and ensure cooperation across business lines.

Education/Requirements/Certs

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience managing projects in upstream/midstream oil and gas industry or a related industry
  • IADC Oil and Gas Operator Representative (OGOR) via Wild Well training is preferred
  • Experience with software commonly used in the industry and/or ability to learn required client system software
  • Comfortable and effective working independently, as well as leading and working in teams across functional groups and with multi-levels of the organization
  • Project Management certification (desired)

  • Applicant must possess the stamina to work in a field environment in all weather conditions wearing job-appropriate PPE.
