Data Analyst

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a comprehensive database of car parts and their related data elements.
• Develop and maintain Python-based web scrapers to source data and deploy mechanisms for gathering information from various online sources.
• Identify and integrate new databases that provide additional data for car parts, including part number information.
• Analyze competitors and source their pricing for comparative analysis.
• Clean and organize data received from vendors and online sources to maintain an accurate database.
• Create automated workflows to provide buy/sell analysis based on pricing.
• Simplify current data conditioning practices and implement workflows (e.g., Macros, Power Automate) to improve efficiency.
• Analyze buy/sell history to provide insights for business decisions.
• Identify macro changes in part types/lines to refine and improve buy/sell analysis.
• Develop data-driven and analytical strategies to enhance warehouse efficiency.

General Qualifications:

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, C/C#, MS Access, Power BI, Power Query, and Power Automate.
• Highly proficient in Excel.
• Experience in database creation, maintenance, and expansion.
• High energy with a strong analytical mindset.
• Strong analytical and reporting background, with the ability to build and produce reports using query and flexible reporting tools to meet the requirements of cross-functional users and resource managers.
• Proven financial and business acumen.
• Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to communicate data insights to stakeholders.
• Ability to translate large data sets into key business messages.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, business, or a related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• SQL: 1 year (Preferred)
