Overview
We are seeking an Appointment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing appointments and providing administrative support in a medical setting.
Duties
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient scheduling
- Manage patient records and update information as needed
- Provide administrative support such as filing, faxing, and data entry
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with front desk duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, including Medical Records and Medicare
- Familiarity with Medical Scheduling software like Meditech is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.40 - $19.57 per hour
