In Home Caregiver

Job Summary

As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care and assistance to individuals in need. Your primary responsibility will be to support residents with various activities of daily living in a home or community care setting.

Duties

• Ensure the well-being and safety of residents by providing attentive care
• Assist residents with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Support individuals with memory care needs and hospice care services
• Monitor and record vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report any changes to healthcare professionals
• Provide patient care following individualized care plans
• Work with individuals with autism, disabilities, and other specific needs
• Foster a supportive and nurturing environment for residents

Skills

• Knowledge of resident rights and ethical caregiving practices
• Experience in home community care and familiarity with memory care techniques
• Proficiency in hospice care principles and practices
• Ability to provide patient observation and respond effectively to changing needs
• Experience in working with people with autism and disabilities
• Understanding of home health procedures and protocols
• Proficient in monitoring vital signs accurately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
