Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations for patients. This role requires a strong background in medical imaging and patient care.
Duties
- Conduct ultrasound imaging procedures using specialized equipment
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns
- Apply knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to accurately interpret images
- Utilize diagnostic radiology techniques to obtain high-quality images
- Maintain aseptic technique during procedures to prevent infection
- Specialize in various areas such as Ob/Gyn sonography
Experience
- Previous experience in sonography or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in medical imaging and diagnostic procedures
- Strong understanding of sonography principles and practices
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medicine related to sonography
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and patients
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33.55 - $52.45 per hour
