The role of the Area Manager for Church accounts requires the skills to help manage our Operations team with focus on providing the highest quality of service in our industry, creating a positive relationship with our great client, creating a loyal relationship with other Managers, Supervisors and other employees assigned to his area and to show professionalism and efficiency in solving any issues presented. The Area Manager must lead by example while assisting employees to follow the scope of work and to surpass our customers' expectations. The Area Manager will direct, instruct and train the team under his responsibility in regards to their different tasks and duties, will resolve escalated issues, participate and conduct meetings on a regular basis, perform budgetary expense reviews and approvals and will report directly to the Assistant Director of Operations in his Division in regards to customer retention, accounts issues, customer service, hiring, disciplining, firing and training needs, budgetary expenses and control, job safety and job specifications, etc. Hands on site training, management and supervision will be needed when required to ensure crews are performing their tasks to exactness.
Daily tasks include (but are not limited to):
Hours: Flexible schedule - some weekend work may be required. Travel is required.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):
Overseeing Janitorial and Special Projects Crews, and Supervisors in Multiple Buildings; Assisting with the management of Inventory Levels and Supplies for accounts within the assigned region; Meeting with Clients and Facility Managers and performing Relationship Management; Performing assigned Quality Inspections; Training Employees, Supervisors and Managers; Responding to On-Call Emergencies as Needed; Being Focused on Safety - helping to train employees on Safety topics, performing incident investigations and helping with Risk Management; Performing equipment maintenance; Performing Budgetary Management and Analysis; Timely fulfilling Reporting duties.
Spanish speaking is not required but it is a plus.
Physical Demands: Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or fingers, reach with hands and arms, feel, talk and hear. May occasionally lift or move items of up to 25 pounds. Employee may be occasionally exposed to body fluids, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. Employee may be required at time to drive for long periods.

- Interacting with Company Operations Management, Administrative Personnel and assisting clients with Relationship Management;
- Suggesting, when applicable, with relevant upsells to help prospective and existing clients obtain all service solutions available to them;
- Preparing and submitting weekly operations reports to management and Administration office;
- Assisting other team members as necessary;
- Submitting Payroll reports and timely addressing employees timekeeping issues;
- Finding, Hiring, Disciplining and Training Employees;
- Responding to On-Call Emergencies as Needed.

- Dynamond Building Services will run a criminal background checking and DMV/Driver records checking as this is a position of trust with such employee dealing with company proprietary information and acting on behalf the company in different ways (including handling existing and potential customer data, relationship management, company contracts, etc). A valid/unexpired driver's license is required for this job.
