Material Receiver

Receiving Deliveries:

• Check and validate the accuracy of incoming materials against purchase order quantities.
• Performing cycle counting to ensure materials align with declared lists and documents.
• Inspect materials for quality defects and report discrepancies or damages to logistics supervisor.

Data Entry:

• Accurately record delivery data in computer and/or computer software.
• Use of calculator functions, using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division for cycle counts of incoming material.
• Basic understanding of part counting scale functions.
• Assists with inventory activities along with the materials manager as necessary.

Material Handling:

• Identify received material and deliver them to appropriate storage areas or departments for use.
• Performing audits and writing receipts of inventory.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk, reach daily and as needed to perform all job functions.

General Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
• 1-3 years of relative experience required
• Must be able to follow procedures, best practices and report unsafe and unprofessional behavior
