We’re Hiring in our Corporate Office in Severna Park, Maryland!
Dynasplint Systems, Inc., a Durable Medical Equipment Provider in Severna Park, MD is NOW HIRING for our Medical Billing and Insurance department. Applicants should be detail oriented, have a knowledge of medical terms as well as a working knowledge of insurance benefits and collections.. Pay will be based on experience $19.00 - $23.00 per hour. This is a 40 hour work week position with benefits including a matching 401K.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Communicate directly with Insurance companies
- Accurately document communications in the patients’ account
- Perform insurance claim follow-ups for insurance denials and appeals
- Contact insurance companies to check eligibility and benefits via phone or online portals
- Must have a working knowledge of medical terminology
- Assist with other billing/collection duties, as needed
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a face paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Knowledge of insurance terms and medical terminology
- Excellent data entry skills
- Customer service skills
- Spanish speaking is a plus
