What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technology Quality Assurance Lead position at Dynasty Financial Partners?

The role of Technology QA Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and stability of Dynasty Financial Partner's internally developed products and services. You will collaborate closely with engineers, QA teams, and product managers to create and maintain QA processes, as well as execute said processes as part of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Test Data Management : Develop and maintain production-like test data sets for use in QA environments, ensuring coverage of all critical scenarios.
Data Verification and Validation : Verify the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of Production data through functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
Collaboration : Work closely with engineers, QA teams, and product managers to understand testing requirements and ensure data availability and functionality aligns with test plans.
Environment Setup : Support the setup and configuration of test environments for UAT and Production QA processes.
Production Support and Bug Investigation : Work Closely with the Product and Service team to investigate reported bugs and issues, to identify impact and prioritize break fixes.
Process Improvement : Identify inefficiencies in processes and recommend or implement improvements to enhance QA capabilities and remediate identification and fix timelines.
Strategy and Roadmap : Absorb and understand the strategic development roadmap to proactively identify potential conflicts in Features, Data Readiness, and user experience complexities.

Requirements

3 years of experience in QA engineering, data quality, or a related role.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets.

Experience with data generation, manipulation, and validation tools.

Familiarity with test data management in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Testing Knowledge : Understanding of QA processes, functional and regression testing, and test automation frameworks.

Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical mindset to identify gaps and ensure data availability for all testing scenarios.

Collaboration : Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Attention to Detail : A meticulous approach to ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

Business Knowledge : Experience in the wealth management and Independent Advisory space preferred.

Process Improvement Expertise : Experience mapping complex business processes and identifying opportunities for improved QA processes.

Collaboration and Relationship Building : Strong collaboration skills within cross-functional teams and the ability to establish effective relationships.

Clear Communication : Excellent communication skills, adept at conveying information engagingly to diverse audiences.

Proven Experience

Proven QA Track Record : Proven track record of large-scale technology QA, project management, and Software Development Life Cycle experience.

Proven Financial Service Technology : Proven track within financial services technology industry. Proven experience with business-critical applications preferred. RIA specific technology experience is a plus.
