As a key point of contact for our valued customers, the Customer Service Representative will play an essential role in maintaining our reputation for customer satisfaction and supportive service.
This is a full-time position located at our main office. Please note that this is not a remote job, and the successful candidate will be expected to work from our office during normal business hours. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for managing various customer interactions, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for each client you engage with.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner as the Face of the company at the Front Desk.
- Answer phone calls, address customer inquiries, provide information about our products and services, and ensure all customer concerns are handled promptly and effectively.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, managing calendar entries for services and customer follow-ups.
- Perform data entry tasks with attention to detail using company software, such as QuickBooks, to maintain and update customer information and order details.
- Engage in light filing activities to keep office records and documents organized.
- Handle customer feedback, escalate critical issues to the appropriate departments, and follow up on resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in handling items received, ensuring accuracy and time efficiency in all logistics-related customer interactions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to better understand client profiles and customize interactions accordingly.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of company products and offerings to enhance customer service delivery and cross-sell services where applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or similar roles, preferably in retail or service-oriented businesses.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and exude a friendly, positive demeanor in all customer interactions.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy office environment, including handling multiple phone lines and administrative tasks simultaneously.
- Quick learner with the capability to absorb new information and apply it effectively in the workplace.
- Reliable with a strong attendance record and commitment to being punctually present at the workplace.
- Skilled in the use of computer systems and software, particularly QuickBooks and Microsoft Office programs.
- High school diploma required; additional certification in Office Assistant, Customer Service, or related fields is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills and detail-oriented to ensure accurate handling of all customer and transaction details.
