Position Overview:
We seek a highly organized and initiative-taking Corporate Staffing and Scheduling Coordinator with experience in skilled nursing facilities. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Apploi Recruitment, On Shift Employee Scheduling Management, Paycom, and social media platforms. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient staff allocation and maintaining optimum staffing levels to meet the needs of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the Apploi recruitment platform to assist facility administrators with job postings and all recruitment efforts, including but not limited to phone screening interviews and candidate tracking.
- Oversight of On Shift Employee Management and Paycom systems to streamline scheduling and aid facility administration in maintaining staffing schedules for multiple skilled nursing facilities, ensuring adequate coverage and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor and adjust schedules in response to staffing changes, call-offs, and unexpected absences as well as assisting in calling internal staff for shift pickup availability.
- Collaborate with facility managers to forecast staffing needs based on census and acuity levels.
- Maintain comprehensive records of schedules and staffing changes.
- Provide regular reports and analyses on staffing trends and requirements.
- Uphold and adhere to company policies related to staffing, scheduling, and time management.
- Utilize social media platforms such as Facebook to post company-related photos, flyers, and essential information.
- Create and publish an internal monthly activities calendar, identifying ideas for staff participation.
- Support HR initiatives and participate in special projects as required.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in staffing and scheduling within a skilled nursing facility or similar field.
- Proficiency in using On Shift, Paycom, Apploi, and Canva.
- Experience in utilizing social media platforms for recruitment and engagement.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of labor laws and regulations related to staffing and scheduling in healthcare settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and 365 applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Working Hours and Reporting:
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Occasional out-of-state travel to facilities with Human Resources
- Reports to the Director of Human Resources
