Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following :
A Production Manager ensures that manufacturing equipment and tools function properly and increase an organization’s efficiencies. Their duties include building production schedules, making sure production processes stay within budgets and deadlines while maintaining quality standards and reviewing the productivity of an organization’s manufacturing equipment.
Production Management
- Oversee the installation of equipment, and maintaining working order of machines
- Evaluation, recommendations, and implementing usage of systems.
- Maintains staffing requirements to fulfill the production schedule, continuously training and reinforcing Dynasty policies to maximize employment retention and morale.
- Creates and maintains production schedules and capacity plans to support short- and long-term production goals.
- Establishes, documents, and maintains Standard Operating Procedures for areas of responsibility.
- Establishes and communicated distillery production and KPI’s, helping drive process improvement.
- Develop technical expertise and general knowledge of all spirits through training, spirits education and tastings for the bottling team and across the company, including our hospitality coworkers.
- Deliver products based on sales demand.
- Select and coordinate material suppliers and analyze, optimize and control production costs.
- Adhere to and propose GMP’s (good manufacturing practices)
- Remain abreast of industry changes and new technology, equipment, systems, and procedures as they relate to improving the distilling area.
- Analyze, optimize and control production costs.
- Monitors performance of all production equipment, scheduling / performing maintenance as needed and coordinating / managing contractors / vendors as necessary
- Maintains order, cleanliness and proper sanitation of production facilities, storage areas and equipment.
Team Building & Culture
Consistently provide leadership through coaching and accountability, for direct reports and fellow coworkers.
Qualifications / Experience
